About

Approximately 3.3 miles from the beginning of the North Fork Road you will come to the ruins of the old mining camp of Rexford, just past Garibaldi Gulch. The North Fork Road leads you through thick areas of lodgepole pine and several clear cut areas. The road does eventually come to a dead-end so be prepared to turn-around and follow your same route back down. * There is a printable Recreation Quicksheet for this road which is complete with directions, a map, details, and other information about this trail: https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/stelprdb5186855.pdf Off-highway vehicles must be registered with Colorado State Parks. Out-of-state residents who bring OHVs into Colorado must purchase a Colorado Non-Resident OHV permit. STAY ON DESIGNATED ROADS TO PREVENT RESOURCE DAMAGE. This road is intersected by potentially dangerous avalanche paths. Please travel appropriately. Horses not recommended due to high motorized use
