There is a camping, picnicking, boating, canoeing, hiking, and fishing area on the north portion of the White River. Big Springs and Blue Spring are two of its largest springs, which provide approximately 18 million gallons of cold, clear water a day. North Fork Recreation Area is the start for the Ridge Runner National Recreation Trail.
