About
There is plenty of parking at the trailhead. The jeep road is from the trailhead to the west of Newcomb Park. The trail goes to the Continental Divide from this point. There is not enough water above Newcomb Park. There are plenty of campsites along the trail. The cattle will be in this area during July and September. The trail is suitable for horses and it is easy to find food on it. The trail is managed by the Parks Ranger District. Please refer to the regulations. The wilderness is not open to motorized and mechanized vehicles.
