Located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains between Sparta, NC and Independence, VA, New River Campground sits on the border of North Carolina and Virginia at an elevation of 2600 feet and spans an entire mile along the scenic New River. We are on the New River after the North and South Forks converge; where the water is deeper and wider. With more water, more out crops, more breath taking beauty, you get to experience the whole river.
