About
The Bigelow Preserve is located in western Maine, just east of the village of Stratton. The preserve covers the entire range of summits. West Peak is the highest of the 10 Maine summits over 4,000 feet in elevation. The preserve is located on the north side and has many opportunities for outdoor recreation. The Northern Forest Canoe Trail is an historic 740-mile water trail through New York, Vermont, Quebec, New Hampshire, and Maine.
