About
The National Park Service and the Bureau of Land Management administer the region. Quiet and solitude are common in the 3,521 acres of narrow canyons and gravelly washes found inside Lake Las Vegas. The landscape here has a thriving habitat of creosote bush, black brush, yucca, Joshua tree and desert willow. There are bighorn sheep, a banded Gila monster and a desert tortoise.
