The south shore of Wolf Mountain can be reached by foot, so long rides through pretty country can be on the cards. People will still find room for their stock at the site even if they aren't planning on camping since there are six campsites and 9 corrals. The wilderness has restrictions for certain trail sizes and the campground has none. It is easy to get here and enjoy the site. Look at a geographic map to locate the Mud Springs Campground.
