Welcome to Mountain River Family Campground. We're so happy you stopped by! We are a family campground nestled in the Western North Carolina Blue Ridge mountains and our camping season begins the first weekend in April and ends the last weekend in October every year. We are available for nightly & weekly camping. We offer level, spacious lots with full hook-up on all sites with no limit on camper size. We offer two pull-through lots to accommodate your needs. We are a pet friendly campground and do not charge an extra fee for your four-legged family members. Please check the rules & regulations for more information. We offer some scheduled events, including nightly campfires to meet and enjoy your fellow campers, as well as music, pot luck luncheons, yard sales, and other activities. Please see our Schedule of Activities for more information. LOCATED ON THE NORTH TOE RIVER 8 MILES EAST OF SPRUCE PINE, NC ON HIGHWAY 19E
