It can be reached though a drive north and then up the canyon, ending at the recreation site. The campground is situated at the foot of a valley and at the other side of Morgan Creek. It is also located in the vicinity of a large animal Management Area. It is a great songbird habitat because of it's diverse terrain. Sparrows and other birds roost in the sagebrush and the forest. Bighorn sheep and antelope are found in the area. The place to reach the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness is on Morgan Creek road. The amenities include a vault toilet, four campsites, and a hand pump.
