I ask that you bring your own firewood! Otherwise, you are free to leave a small donation if you use any of the wood I have on property! I may or may not be on the property during your stay. You are welcome to bring a small buddy-heater with you, or, one can be available to rent. The clear panels do act as a greenhouse and the cabin can retain warmth during daylight hours. Please bring repellent. There is a bug net in the cabin to put over the futon. SUMMER CAMPING: Please see Spring Camping and then remember that there may be a total of 10 days that the temperatures may be unbearable (but the garden loves it). I cannot control the weather. Sunkhaze Meadows National Wildlife Refuge is a shirt drive with a few hiking trails. Baxter State Park & Acadia National Park are each an hour and a half away (just in opposite directions).
