The 556 acres of the McIntosh Reserve Park are filled with history, trails, and a splash water park. The park is open year round, but only on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. The park office hours are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The park is open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. It is possible to take Alternative 27 from Carrollton or Newnan. There is a road that leads to the park that is 2 miles west of Whitesburg.
