About
80 acres of seclusion in the hills of the Lost Coast.
Currently has multiple campsites, including a bell tent site for glamping. There are private sites and sites that are perfect for large groups. There is a common area with horseshoes and corn hole and a communal sink.
Looking to get away from it all? Look no further! This place is REMOTE! The last 5 miles (25 mins) out of "the town" of Petrolia, is really rugged and steep.
The Lost Platform is a raised sleeping platform with phenomenal views located five miles form Petrolia. There is space for several tents as well and would be great spot for a large group.
You MUST have a 4-wheel or All wheel vehicle with clearance to access all sites and the property.
You are a 3 minute walk from the Lost Yurt.
There is a spigot for water, and an outhouse nearby.
There is a private fire pit and picnic table as well as a common area for all campers to enjoy horseshoes and access to a sink where you can do dishes.
There are gorgeous views, and a huge view of the sky for stargazing.
It is secluded so the quiet seeps into your soul.
You will want to screen shot our directions, the map and the map of the property as you will lose service before you get here and you will not have service here.
The terrain is steep in spots and there are not established trails everywhere so you will need to wear hiking boots with good traction, as the loose gravel and dirt can be slippery without proper footwear.
Dogs are welcome! We have dog on the property that would love to meet and greet and hang out if your dogs are good with other dogs. If not, we can keep her at home.
There are currently 3 camp sites on our 80 acres. Each one is private and secluded, but only a short stroll from one another.
