About
Lacks Creek is a recreational treasure that is hidden in the coast range. You can ride your horse or bike along the shared use trails or find a secluded campsite. The Lacks Creek is located in the northern Coast Range, 15 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean. The area is in the north of the county. The management area contains 8,673 acres of BLM managed public lands, 7,377 of which are within the Lacks Creek Watershed. The area contains a lot of private land and a lot of commercial forest lands. There are scattered ranches in the immediate area.
