There are some tent sites on the north end of the mountain. The campsite is situated near the Old Carter Military Trail. It is possible to find out about certain hikes using the forest map. The south, north and east area of the campground are open for off-road use. The map of the forest service's open areas has a quote. The forest service can have information.
