About

Built in 1932 and renovated in 1974, this cabin is located on the Liberty Trail on the southwest shoulder of Mt. Chocorua, one half mile from the summit. It is located on the footprint of the Old Peak House built in 1891 that was destroyed by a wind storm in 1915. The cabin is a one room structure with 3-triple bunks that sleep a total of nine people, and a small table. Fires are NOT allowed in or around the cabin. There is a toilet 300 feet down the Liberty Trail.
