The Indian Lake Islands campground is located on the southern shore of Indian Lake and features some of the best recreational boating in the Adirondacks. Privacy is offered by all the campsites. They are large and forested. The campsites are only accessible by boat. There is a boat launch next to the Lewey Lake Public Campground. The chance to camp on an island or along Indian Lake is one of the most popular camping destinations in the Adirondacks. Indian Lake Islands campground has a variety of recreational opportunities, including canoeing and boating, hiking, fishing, and picnicking, as well as picnic areas with tables and fireplaces.
