The site is located along the Upper Salt River, which makes for great water reaction activities. There are amazing views of mountains, canyons, and wildlife nearby. The close proximity to the Salt River allows fishing and non-motorized boating. There are plenty of dispersed campsites at HZ Wash, which make it easy to escape during any time of the year.
