About

The campground is next to a scenic lake in northern New Mexico. Visitors enjoy hiking, fishing and canoeing. The lake is perfect for canoeing and is stocked with trout. The trail is popular with hikers and horseback riders. The campground has 31 camping sites. There is a group day-use shelter and group overnight campsite. There are horse corrals and water troughs at two campsites. Drinking water and vault toilets are provided. The small lake is set high in the forest at an elevation of 9,500 feet. The forest of conifer and aspen trees is shaded by some of the trees in the campground. The ADA access is N.
