This scenic, high desert campground and day use area is located on the western shore of [Haystack Reservoir](http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/ochoco/recreation/wateractivities/recarea/?recid=81114&actid;=79). There is one fully accessible campsite as well as easy access from the Day Use parking area to the boat ramp. Occasionally there are special events that occur at this site which may impact general users so visitors are encouraged to call ahead and confirm availability.
