The Haymeadow Creek campground is near the Rapid River. A vault toilet is available at some of the campsites. There is no water at this spot, even though the map shows drinking water. It's important to pack your stuff because there aren't trash cans. It is a good trout stream. That will be a challenge to catch. The trail goes across a forested area full of plants and animals. The trail leads to a bridge. It's called the Bay de Noc Grand Island National Recreation Trail.
