The property is located in western Kansas and has a 94 acre lake bed, 12 acres of riparian timber, and over 300 acres of upland shortgrass prairie. The area has an upland game and deer habitat enhancement. When the water is plentiful, fish are stocked quickly to give angling opportunities. The area has camping, hiking, and bird watching activities, but no open fires. The area has no trash receptacle and only primitive facilities are available.
