About

Gold Lake is a popular place to go in the summer and winter. Although not allowed on the small lake, canoes, rafts and rowboats can be used for fishing. A primitive Log shelter was constructed in the early 1940s to protect skiers in the winter. It is near the gold lake bg. The visitor can view deer, eagle, and other smaller animals in this area. This area has many flowers and fruits in the late spring and summer. This is a very popular area to get berry in late summer. More popular lakes and rivers can be viewed.
