About

The Gold Lake Campground is in the Lakes Basin Recreation Area. The recreation area is nine miles southwest of Graeagle. The scenery is wonderful and there are many accessible hiking trails nearby. A lot of recreational activities are available in this area, including camping, fishing, boating, hunting, mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, picnicking, swimming, windsurfing and nature study. Visitors can ski and snowshoe in the winter. The campground is located on the shores of Gold Lake. There are 37 sites with tables, fire rings, food lockers and toilet facilities.
