Crystal River and Homosassa nearby for great waterfront dining and swimming with the manatees. Not far from Ocala for the horse lovers and Gainesville for shopping, dining and more. Don’t forget the Goethe State Forest directly across the street with 120 miles of trails for hiking, biking and of course horseback riding. Also nearby many other trailheads for a perfect day trip.
