This newer 1-bedroom, 1 3/4-bath cedar and log chalet is the perfect family retreat or for that much needed romantic getaway! The exterior features a covered front porch; perfect for sipping lemonade during our gorgeous summers! The interior floor plan features one bedroom with 1-king sized bed plus its own gas fireplace and one full bath en-suite, a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, and an open living/dining area with a double futon, another gas fireplace and a 3/4-bath. Just outside the back door is a privacy fenced deck with a private hot tub and a gas grill. This pet-friendly, wifi equipped, and monitored vacation property will sleep up to 4-persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!). PLEASE NOTE: WiFi service is now available to our area, and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. Having said this, the service is currently subject to failure, as the service provider is in the process of dialing everything in. Intermittent service failures are a circumstance that is beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the FREE WiFi SERVICE fails to function properly. The Mount Baker Recreation Area is a year-round playground! SUMMER Guests enjoy great hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, nature viewing, tennis, and golf. WINTER Guests enjoy spectacular downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Don't forget your camera…the photography is unsurpassed year-round! Guests who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per written Guest Rental Agreement). Guests are expected to be mindful of neighboring residences, and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time. Guests are directly responsible for their invitees actions, and would be well advised to provide directions and discuss house rules in advance with other family members who may be arriving separately.
