About
The 8.4 mile hike into the heart of the Teton range is strenuous. Hikers will follow the trail left towards Garnet Canyon after leaving the Lupine Meadows Trailhead. The trail will take you to a boulder field. Visitors should be fit and comfortable with their route finding before attempting to cross the boulder field. Visitors to the canyon will find themselves surrounded by some of the more prominent peaks in the range: Disappointment Peak, for example. Hikers should exercise caution when going on the Garnet Canyon trail as boulder field crossing can be dangerous. The Jenny Lake Ranger Station is the place to stop if you're planning to travel into Garnet Canyon.
