About
Forlorn Lakes is one of the most popular campgrounds in the southern part of the forest, and there are 25 campsites scattered around the lakes. The larger lakes can be used for swimming and fishing. The campground is popular during the berry season because of the bushes. The campsites are large enough for tents or RV's. The day use area has lakeside views. The camping spots fill early in the week at the campground. It is possible to get to Indian Heaven via the East Crater Trailhead.
