About

The water is 47 acres of water and the land is 200 acres. It is located at an elevation of 5,470 feet northwest of Carter Lake, and is part of the Colorado-Big Thompson Project. Water from the west slope will be diverted to the east slope for drinking water, irrigation, and hydropower generation. It's solely responsible for power generation. Water levels for irrigation, municipal, and industry are managed by the agencies. Larimer County Natural Resources is in charge of recreation. It is a popular spot for fishing and camping.
