About
It is said that the beauty of Vermont is found in the Town of Lake Elmore. Lake Elmore is a large body of water, and it is near the village and the Lamoille River. According to this, the timber on the mountain is mostly hardwood. The park was started in 1936 by the town of Elmore and local citizens who donated 30 acres to the state of Vermont. A beach area was created with modest means. In addition to 44 tent/RV sites and 15 lean-to sites, the park has two campground bathrooms with flush toilets, hot and cold running water, and coin-operated showers.
