About

The Canyon Visitor Center is 38 miles north of the Echo Park Campground. It is located near the Yampa River. The campground requires high-clearance vehicles. RV and trailers are discouraged due to rough roads and sharp turns. There are 22 sites at the Echo Park Campground, including one handicapped accessible site. It's suitable for tent camping. There is water and toilets. Check with a ranger for the current fire-use policy. The campground fills on holiday weekends. The water is turned off in the late-September to late- May time period.
