The beauty of Eastern Nevada makes it a great place to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities during the year. The 63-acre lake is home to a variety of birds and is ideal for swimming and boating. The fishermen enjoy a lake filled with rainbow trout, largemouth bass, crappie and an occasional German brown trout. Campers and hikers can also enjoy the birds of prey that fly through the canyons and valleys. Animals that can be found in the north campground include deer, cottontails, coyotes, and an occasional Bobcat. There is drinking water near each site. The full hook-up sites are on a hill overlooking Dry Valley. The campgrounds have flush toilets and an RV dump station. A camping limit is in effect for 30 days.
