Eagle Nest Lake State Park is located on the side of the mountain and is surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the high mountains. Eagle Nest Lake is an ideal location for viewing wildlife. It is known for fishing and is a peaceful place to visit. This park has developed campsites with fire grills, picnic tables, and a shade structure. The park has many opportunities in birdwatching, hiking, biking, and fishing. We offer first come-first serve sites in the off-season. Please be aware of winter closings.
