Devil’s Lake State Park has three campgrounds with a total of 423 sites that each accommodate a family (One to six individuals). There are only 10 first-come-first-serve campsites. They are located in the Quartzite campground. There are also nine group campsites that can accommodate a total of 240 campers for Devils lake Wisconsin camping. Group campsites are on the south side. Each campground has different qualities that have made each of them popular with annual campers. There are no campgrounds near or on the shoreline of Devil’s Lake itself. Founded in 1911, Devil's Lake is the third oldest state park in Wisconsin, the largest and the most visited. LocationDevil's Lake offers magnificent views from 500-foot quartzite bluffs overlooking a 360-acre lake. Enjoy lakeshore picnic areas, sandy swimming beaches, 29 miles of hiking trails or ease into the backcountry solitude. Devil's Lake is a beautiful year-round park with an intriguing natural history along the 1,000-mile Ice Age National Scenic Trail.
