The Gorge is located between Franklin and Highlands. The gorge is a part of the Mountain Scenic By-way. The road parallels the river and has great views of the mountains and waterfalls. You can walk or drive under the "veil" of the water at Bridal Veil Falls. Dry Falls is a 75-foot waterfall with a beautiful view. A short trail leads to the waterfall from the parking area. The parking area has a view of the waterfall. It is a good idea to be cautious as the trail may be wet or icy. There are other falls along the way.
