From our beautiful Frio River, always flowing with crisp, clean water fed by natural springs located on and above our resort, to the Biggest Bold Cypress tree in Texas located near Buffalo Creek which also flows through Crider's Resort. Hop in a tube and paddle the shimmering shores, toss in a line for some fishing or just stroll along its idyllic shores. If you’d prefer to stay dry, hike along Buffalo Creek and feast your eyes upon Texas’ largest tree, a majestic Bald Cypress Tree set along the shores. Once you’ve had your fill, return to your cozy, knotty pine cabin and watch graceful Axis Deer wandering along the river’s edge. We are a family oriented camp where you will build memories to be cherished for years to come. We have been host to families for over 65 years. Many guests are the third generation to enjoy the beauty and serenity of the Frio Canyon at Crider's. When our old friends show up each year it's like a big family reunion for us.
