The Central Adirondacks include Wilcox Lake Wild Forest in Warren County. There are over five miles of hiking trails on the mountain. The views from the open areas on the mountain make this a very popular hike. The elevation gain is over 1300 feet. The hike is worth the view due to the steep sections.
