About
Cowles Campground is located at the base of the Winsor Canyon and is close to the Winsor Ridge Trailhead. There are uses for tent camping, picnicking, fishing, and hiking. There is a vault toilet, 9 camping units with tables, fire rings, and grills, and 2 covered three-sided shelters with fire places. There is no drinking water, untility hooks, dumpstations or showers. Users are encouraged to recycle. You can find more information on frontcountry and outdoor ethics at the leave no trace website.
