Courtney Lake Campground

The campground is located in Ontonagon County and is on the northeast side of the forest. There are 21 spacious sites that can accommodate tents, trailers, or larger motor homes in this campground. It has two walk-in sites for tent campers. Campsites are close to vegetation for screening. The sites have a picnic table, fire ring, lantern post, and parking spur. There are two sets of vault toilets in the campground loop. The picnic area and boat landing are close to the campground. There is a campground and a hiking trail at the south side of campsite 7 and a parking area across from the Beach and Day Use area. One of the only equestrian trails in the area can be found next to the campground. The map is named "cocaine equestrian trails."
