About
The east side of Upper Holter Lake has campground on it's side, as well as downstream of the Gates of the Mountains Wilderness. TheMeriwether Picnicsite is a large area with wilderness and boat docks. Access to the picnic site is provided by a scenic river trail. Excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing can be found at the campground. It refers to fish that are available in your national forest: trout, Walleye, and types of fishing.
