About
It was 2900 feet above sea level. There are campsites on the Salmon River. The Salmon Wild and Scenic River are Class III-IV rapids. Horse Creek campground has a hiking and equestrian trail from the south to the north on the Salmon. There are cutthroat, rainbow, and whitefish in the river. The picnic facilities can be accessed. Jet boaters and river floaters use the boat ramp.
