The road is in a good condition. Cooper Spur Road is open all year. The maximum RV length is unlimited and there are more than one campsite at this location. There is a limit on the number of days that can be spent on Mt. It was the Hood National Forest. There are many camping and lodging opportunities on the Mt Hood National Forest. The campgrounds in the Clackamas River Ranger District will not open in 2021. firewood should not be brought from areas outside of the Northwest because of the threat of insect pests being transported with it. It is always a good idea to be prepared.
