About

The Colorado isles have gravel and silt mounds around it as it flows outside of Austin, into Bastrop. The Boy Scout Island is popular for overnight campouts. The explanation for the abundance of islands here is a mystery. You can look to the Austin dams. According to Parker, water flow drops when you Dam up a river. The Colorado doesn't have enough circulation to flush it's contents.
