The canoe campsite is on the Mississippi River and has Adirondack-style shelter. The campsite is a popular stop for first day paddlers. There are a fire ring, picnic table and a privy available. La Salle Creek goes down the Mississippi River. The river abuts the La Salle SNA after leaving the rest area.
