HIKING While camping in a rental motorhome at Lake Marion, fun isn’t only limited to the water. The low country in South Carolina is relatively flat, so hiking through the countryside is fairly easy. The massive Santee National Wildlife Refuge has a healthy wildlife population consisting of alligators, waterfowl, and the Springflyer Dragonfly. It is also one of the largest wetlands supporting migratory birds in Eastern USA. HIKING & EATING IN HISTORIC CHARLESTON The great Historic City of Charleston is very close. Hike the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge - one of Charleston’s most iconic landmarks. After trekking the bridge, head over to downtown Charleston for a culinary delight tour of world-renown restaurants known only to Charleston.
