About
Carter Notch Hut is an amazing place with an intimate and beautiful setting. Hike 3.8 miles to reach the hut and you will see a world of rock formations and mountain lakes. The eastern anchor of AMC's hut system was built in 1914 and has been a draw for hikers ever since.
