About
The Cachuma Lake is located in the wilderness of the Santa Ynez and San Rafael Mountains. There is a lot of what you need here. It is enjoyable to camp here during winter because of the warm temperatures and good fishing. The Federal Bureau of Recreation leased Cachuma Lake to the County in the 60s. Bradbury Dam was built in the year that Cachuma Lake was formed. The Danes Community of Solvang and Santa Barbara are a short distance away from Cachuma Lake. The Cachuma Lake Recreation Area is a great place to visit.
