Cabin Lake Campground

The two 8' x 12' covered shelters are 300' apart and allow silent human observers to spy on thirsty animals. The blind has a small concrete basin that has puddles of water in it. It is possible to see and take pictures from a distance of 15-20 feet. A pole fence surrounds the upper site. The registry has a long history of human and wildlife visitors. There is a picnic area near. Keep your dog or cat away from the wildlife because of the close proximity. If the supply system is disabled, bring a filled water container. The "lake" dried centuries ago so you can leave your fishing rod and boat at home.
