About
The man-made site is 25 miles southwest of Bakersfield. It took 43 days to fill both Lake Evans and Lake Webb with over 2,300,000,000 gallons of water. There are 112 campsites in a horseshoe-shaped spit of land. Lake Evans, at 86 acres, is the place for sailing, fishing, and boating at no more than 5 mph.
