The scenery on the Browns Creek trail has changed over the years. The trail follows the stream and there are small waterfalls along the way. The lower portion of the trail begins in a pine forest. The trail goes through pristine meadow at higher altitudes, which means that it is not possible to camp at the trailhead. The camp sites are further south on the road.
