About
The Verde River is accessible from the Box Bar with a view of the Lake near the Cave Creek Ranger District. This small site offers a beautiful view of the Surrounding Mountains along with a fast river that makes it fun for all ages. The shore line is rocky with trees on it. It is possible to see wildlife in the late winter and early summer. There is no campsites at the site but the shaded areas are popular among camp trailers and tents.
